Cricut Card Fairy Cards - for Kristen
I am a member of the Cricut message board and also a member of the Cricut Card Fairy Team. We create and send cards to fellow members who need a little cheer.
Wisdom Teeth
Well Kristen did great! She got all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday at 12:00.
We got home a little after 1:00 PM and throughout the day she managed to keep her meds and babyfood type meals down. Ice packs are being applied every 20 minutes and she is still sleeping this morning.
Two of her friends came over with ice cream and cool drinks and jello etc. Thanks Peter and Stacey!
See how she does today.
The Cricut MB card Fairies sent her some get well cards which I'll be posting on my other BLOG today and sending them a formal TY!

You have to try this
A co-worker sent me this. It cannot be done! Makes me laugh every time I try.
How smart is Your Right Foot?
Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon
This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. It's preprogrammed in your brain!
1. While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!
Too funny!

Rams 33 - Millbury 14
Northbridge High had a great game, they are eighth-ranked. Rams’ had a 33-14 win over Millbury on Saturday at Lasell Field. This was the re-assigned homecoming weekend, the original date was rained out. 70+ degrees a great day for food, raffles and a ball game. Not to mention I won two silent auctions.

Red Sox 4, Angels 5 - ALDS Game 3
What a long game - something like 5 hours... hands clasped in a prayer as we watched inning after inning hoping the Red Sox would pull out a run and win. After 12.. we lost.

Homecoming - rain out
This might be a good thing, let me explain. Our NHS homecoming was to be today - you know the band, food, ball game and of course football! With the torencial downpours yesterday and today - it was all called off. (Game will only be played tomorrow at 7:00PM!)
The reason I say it's a [partial] good thing - Kristen was planning on coming home for the events, but has work to do at college.
The events (except the football game - which she will miss) like food, social activities will be held over the Columbus day weekend.
See you soon!
Go RAMS!

Cheesecake factory
I went up to Boston to visit Kristen and she said "Let's go to The Cheesecake Factory for Lunch!" Sure! Sounds great. She remembered her Uncle Chris said it was not far from NU and that it is a must place to go to eat. The location is on 115 Huntington Ave.
We walked about 10 - 15mins to The Pru and enjoyed a huge lunch. (Took left over home). Then we continued to shop in The Pru. It was a nice day and enjoyed spending a few hours with her.
I am fortunate we live only an hour away.

Off to College
We got up at 6:00 a.m. - loaded my brother-in-law's truck and off to NEU we went.
The move went great. Kristen has a sweet roommate and they got their sides of the room looking great! We had a nice lunch in the Stetson West dining hall - quick trip to the bookstore because I forgot the printer and e-net cables! We gave her our hugs and off we went home. Good luck Kristen - be good, have fun. Love mom and dad.

College Bound
Tomorrow my daughter will be moving into her dorm at NEU, this is her first year in the DPT program. She has worked hard through H.S. and we are very proud of her. This will be an exciting time for her and we wish her all the best in her next stage in life. As we move her in tomorrow I know it will be a long and teary ride home for me. Best of luck Kristen! Will miss always knocking on your bedroom door to chat. Look out text messaging! Guess I'll get really good at it. LOL.
